Hate is such a strong word. It may be thought of as an emotion, but it’s a mindset. It is up to each individual to choose how they will view the world.
Let me ask you, do you profess that you are a Christian? If so, then you have vowed to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind. Your mindset then would be on love and not hate.
So the problem with our world today, that at times seems full of hate, is our mental state and the focus of our hearts. If you aren’t mentally and spiritually focused on God, your heart isn’t right with Him. This causes unloving thoughts and actions to creep in.
When you truly love God, whom you can’t see, you can’t help but love those around you. When He lives in you, His love touches the lives of everyone you meet.
Choose to spread love and not hate. Choose to love the tangible people around you by extending the intangible love of God.
