Do you believe in what you haven’t seen? For instance, if you have never seen a waterfall for yourself do you believe they exist? If you have never seen a humpback whale flip it’s tail or been down to the depths to see the creatures that lurk miles down beneath the surface of the ocean, do you doubt their existence?
Of course not. Why? You know from the stories and pictures of others that these things do in fact exist somewhere in the world.
No one has ever seen God, but we have evidence all around us and in us that He does exist. Do you believe He does?
Before there was anything and the universe was a vast and barren place, God was here. In His might and power, He merely spoke and there was light and darkness, land and sea, animals and assorted plant life.
He spoke and created man out of dust and breathed His own breath into him so that he could live. God is the reason you have breath and life. Think about that. He loved you so much He gave you the breath of life!
Because of His great love, you are to love others as He loves you. When you make the choice to allow the Holy Spirit to live in you, you are able to show His love to others. Without love, our words have no meaning and our actions have no impact.
God’s love completes us. Just because you can’t see Him or feel that He’s always there, He hasn’t left you. Lean into Him.
