Have you ever been led by a great leader? On the flipside, have you ever had someone trying to lead and it wasn’t working as it should?
There are definitely certain qualities that encompass a great leader. Leaders are honest and trustworthy. They work hard and don’t take advantage of their position—like not coming in to work once or twice a week just because they can without punishment.
A great leader will never ask others to do something they would not do. Some in leadership try to keep themselves above the level of everyone else.
Being able to relate to your employees while being respected by them is a delicate balance. Vulnerability is not a weakness. When you let others in, your heart remains open to them and you still allow God to take the lead on all you do.
What good leadership qualities do you have and what are some that you may need to have God help you work on?
