Have you ever met someone who is far from humble? It’s usually evident by the way they talk and the way they live out their life.
Being in this life to get more out of it than you’re willing to put into it does not mean you are living with a humble heart. Humbleness is all about doing for others, giving to help others with your time and resources, and putting the effort in to live for something bigger and greater than yourself.
Jesus came to die for you so all your sins and footfalls would be forgiven. What was meant to condemn you to spiritual death apart from God, Jesus restored.
God has promised you eternal life with Him in heaven and all you have to do is except the sacrifice of His Son. It’s that easy. This is a promise He has made to all of us. Nothing you could ever do would make it void because Jesus is the One who already paid the price.
Be humble and remember who you are and who you belong to. You are a child of God the Father. Then you will live each day to the fullest for your good and His glory. The benefit of living this kind of sacrificial life for Him results in abundant peace—never ending peace.
Humble yourself before Him each and every day and ask Him to direct your feet to do what He wants you to do while you are here on this earth. How often do you reflect on God’s goodness and His promises?
