Going out into the great unknown sounds adventurous and exciting! It’s spontaneous and the world is before you. What will you find? Only time will tell.
This sounds great, but it can also be scary and stressful. It doesn’t have to be though. Our whole lives we makes plans. Even when you don’t, you’ve made a plan to not make a plan.
It helps to have a guide when we take a journey. Someone who has already been that way before can shed some light on the journey. The mountains can be tough to climb and the wilderness seems endless when you’re walking through it.
You can have a guide that’s already been everywhere you want to go. Jesus! He walked this earth too and has been through storms, sun, heat, and cold.
He’s journeyed over hills and mountains alike and walked through pleasant valleys of sunshine. The desert has been graced by His presence and He has seen death as a result of having life.
The sacrifice He willingly made though is much different than ours. He paved the way for us to never have to walk alone and in everything Jesus has walked ahead of you to make a way.
Even when there doesn’t seem to be a way out of what you’re enduring right now, keep hope. Hold onto Jesus. Because He still lives, you have hope for tomorrow.
He overcame death, hell, and the grave so you could have eternal life in heaven after this life on earth passes away. The way is prepared. Where is it God is asking you to go today?
