As much as you love those dear to you, your family and friends, it cannot compare to the love God has for them and for you. When you pray, how do you pray for them and for your own requests?
Do you find yourself praying a lot of me, my, and mine? Your children are yours, but God ultimately created them. They are His. We say they are our friends, but God created them and we need to remember they are His.
When you pray for someone, remember they are His sons and daughters. We will all make wrong choices and go through hurt, pain, and tough times. When you love someone, it hurts when you feel physically helpless to help them. The best thing you can do in these times is to pray.
No matter what you go through and your associations with others here on this earth, we are all His! In His loving arms you always have a place to belong and can experience His peace, grace, love, and mercy.
We all have free will and God made us that way on purpose. He wanted you to be able to freely choose to commit your life to Him. While you are responsible for making this and any other choice you make, whatever you freely choose to do does not limit God.
He is not defined by your choices, but you will be refined by His wisdom, strength, and understanding. Nothing you could ever do has the power to separate you from His love. His love is unconditional and never-ending.
Just as He is, was, and always will be, His love will also endure forever. Nothing at all has the capability to make Him ever stop loving you—life nor death, angels nor demons, nor your fears and worries or even the powers of hell.
Even if you can’t see Him working, He is always working behind the scenes for your good and His glory. Have you fully embraced His unconditional and never-ending love? How has it given you peace and comfort in trying times?
