Have you ever done any landscaping or gardening? It is almost inevitable that you are pricked by a thorn you may not have even known was there before reaching your hand in.
Thorns hurt. If it digs in deep it may leave a scar. Just like this physical pain, sometimes thorns pierce us and cause other deeper wounds.
Emotional and psychological thorns can cripple you from the inside out. Maybe someone has said something to you that was hurtful and you haven’t been able to forgive them—let alone forget it.
Maybe you failed big time and now you don’t know how to overcome your fear of not being good enough. We have all experienced fear and made mistakes.

The last thing you probably want is for people to think you’re weak, but the reality is we all have weaknesses.
It is only because of your weakness He can make you stronger through His strength. Weakness is not a sign of defeat.
It is in moments of weakness when you seek Him that He can release His power in your life. You are not strong through your own abilities. You’re strong because He is at work in and through you.
How have you sought God in moments of weakness and He’s answered with His strength?
