A favorite game among children is hide-and-seek. There is just something about going to a place where no one can find you.
As adults, we tend to still “play” this game. We like to try and hide things so others cannot see what we are going through or how we are really feeling.
Some go through life and try to believe they can hide from God. If this is you, be reassured today that there is no place where you can go that God does not see you.
This is reassurance because it’s a good thing He is with you everywhere. No matter what you go through, He will never leave you.
It is scary for you to put yourself out there and expose everything in your life. If you say you’re a Christ follower though there is no other way to live.
You are to be in community with one another and share who you really are and what you’re really going through with others. This isn’t an option. It’s a necessity. You were never meant to live life alone. Let people see and be with the real you.
Let God in on your life too. There is nothing you do and nowhere you can go where He does not know and see you. Don’t be embarrassed and try to hide from Him. He has your best interest in mind.
There is nothing you could ever do that can separate you from the love of God. Bare all and let Him know you truly trust Him with your life. He will work everything for good because you love Him.
Only He can make your broken parts whole again. He alone can restore and make your life complete. He created the heavens and the earth and He alone knows every part of it by heart.
What have you been trying to hide in secret from God? Be bold and know He is good, He wants to be there for you, and He wants to help you live an abundant life free from all the things of this life that try to keep you in hiding.
