To whom do you go when you need guidance? It’s great to ask the people around you for advice and direction, but you have to be wise about where your help comes from.
You become who you’re around. This can be a good thing that helps you grow in understanding, empathy, and love. It can also cause you to develop bad habits and drift away from the path God has for you.
Culture has imposed a long list of things you should do, think, and say. This list is ever-changing and ever-growing.
This is a problem. Truth doesn’t change to fit what you think it should be. Truth lies in the Word of God that is never-changing and remains as true today as the day it was written.
We are called to walk in His Spirit and truth. This is how you can honor God with your life. True wisdom about all things comes from God and God alone.
Surround yourself with others who love God and they will be able to help encourage you in your walk with Him. Learning how to love and be there for others is wisdom that comes from Him.
Whenever you’re lost and you don’t know what to do or you need a fresh start, God is always there for you. Call on Him and He will willingly and generously give you the wisdom you seek—no questions asked.
The hard truth about truth though is it may not be what you want to hear, but it’s what you need to hear. He will never chastise you for asking anything of Him.
We all have faults and He is the One above all others who accepts you just as you are. You can trust Him to not just see you as you are, but see you as He knows you were created to be.
God can put others in our lives to speak His truth. Sometimes the counsel is only what you want to hear and not what you need. Where have you been seeking wisdom and answers?
