When you sing do those around you light up with joy or cringe at the sound? Whatever the result your melodious voice has on others, don’t stop singing.
Sure you may get reactions that are less than pleasant, but you aren’t singing for others. You are singing for Him.
Live with joy in your life and a song in your heart. God is more concerned with the condition of your heart than anything else.
If your life is built on the solid rock of your salvation through Christ, what more can you need? Your salvation is secure. Because of Jesus you will spend eternity in heaven with Him. The alternative is less satisfying.
Let your life be a song to Him. Make choices that honor Him and thank Him for the path He has made for you in this life. And the next time you worship Him with your voice, know that it isn’t the quality that counts the most, but the heart behind it.
