Have you ever been the new person? Maybe you moved as a kid to a place where no one knew you.
Maybe you started working at a new company and even after working there awhile you blended in and no one seemed to know or notice you.
It can be hard to make a new friends when you are a kid, but it can be even harder as an adult. I would like to say that our sophomoric and inward-focused mindsets change as we get older, but I have found that is not always the case.
Sometimes you can get tunnel vision while on your career path or so submerged in the life of your children that you hardly notice anything or anyone around you. Let this be your wake up call!
We all want to be noticed. You and I have a desire to be seen and known. Guess what? You are! God sees you and He knows your name.
He tells you not to have fear because He has redeemed you. Christ paid the ransom for you to be free with His own life—that’s true sacrifice.
He calls you by your name because He has made you for a specific purpose. He lovingly calls you His own. Take comfort in knowing that you are seen and known by a loving Father.
How can you show God’s love to people today by seeing those around you who feel unseen?
