We have all read stories where a character accepts their fate and meets an untimely end. They couldn’t see a way out and just gave in to “what will be, will be.”
Have you given in? Whether you believe in God or not, please know He did not bring you this far to leave you alone now. If you just accept the fate you’re presented with you’ll miss out on the life of faith God has planned for you.
It can be eye-opening to look back throughout your life and remember times you don’t understand why you were enduring painful things and how you somehow made it through. There are always people praying for you and God is always with you on your journey.
Some people come into your life and stay from the very beginning until your last breath. Others are only around for seasons and events when we need their faith and encouragement the most. Their faith when ours is lacking is what helps to sustain us.
It can be hard to be in this world, but not of this world. Even though you are living in the here and now, this is not your home. From the Father you came and accepting Christ and living for Him ensures that is where you will return for all eternity.
The faith others have in God can motivate you when your fears and circumstances try to derail you from the path He planned for your life. The Bible says that even if you have faith the size of a tiny mustard seed, you can say to the mountain (obstacle) in front of you to jump into the sea and it will. A little faith goes a long way. It’s like the ultimate pixie dust.
When you accept Christ, you have the opportunity to deepen your faith in Him with each circumstance you face. The more you trust Him and acknowledge He is the only source that sustains you, your faith will become stronger—making it easier to put everything you do and everything you are into His hands.
Faith changes your outlook on life and changes how you live. Have you truly made God the one whom everything revolves around or has the focus shifted to something else these last six months?
