What are you afraid of? Some are afraid of spiders, heights, the dark, or small spaces. While others are afraid commitment, being vulnerable, and putting themselves out there with anything they do.
Nehemiah knew how to trust in God and not be afraid. When trying to finish the city wall he was threatened and lied to, but he refused to listen to them and instead listened to God.
God was the one after all who gave him the assignment to build the wall. Nehemiah knew he was doing something bigger than himself and when God tells you to do something it’s best for everyone you follow what He asks of you.
You will have hard times following God’s call on your life, but you will also live a life full of joy and blessings overflowing. Living out your God-given assignments not only affects you but those around you too.
Saying yes to God changes everything! It brings glory to His name and draws people around you closer to Him as you love them like Jesus.
God hasn’t given you a spirit of fear. His perfect love casts out all fear—it expels it. It makes it non-existent.
Whatever God asks of you He’s done it for you to react in faith and not fear. He can’t wait to see it be completed by His power through you.
What has God asked you to do? What would happen if you didn’t approach it with fear and excuses but with faith and trust in Him?
