No matter what you do in life, there is always someone in charge. Being a boss is something many people work toward.
A boss is in charge of a team, a shift, and sometimes an entire company. Maybe you are the boss or have been in the past. You’ve climbed the corporate ladder to the top. It can be rewarding, but challenging.
When in a seat of authority, it’s important to remember how you got there. Nothing happens by accident. Where you work and your responsibilities there are no coincidence.
God has placed you in your position on purpose. No matter your role, keep your eyes on the One who got you there.
It can be easy to see and claim all the hard work you put into your job, but hard to see everything God has orchestrated behind the scenes to pave the way for you to get there.
God wants you to incorporate Him in everything you do—including your job. Pray before you sit down for a meeting that what you say and do will bring Him honor.
Pray before you make that phone call so His favor will be on the outcome of the call. Pray before you even go to work that in everything you say and do everyone will know without a doubt Who you are working for.
Living your life by faith means you trust every aspect to Him. Even if you are the boss at a major corporation, don’t forget you have a higher boss to answer to. No matter how far you climb, God will always be higher.
Because Jesus is God’s Son, you are showing thanks to God through His Son and in doing so you honor them both.
How does your life at the office, or wherever you work, reflecting God’s faithfulness in your life and your every day increasing faith in Him?
