Has there ever been something that scared you so much you were afraid to look at it? You may want to peak at it, but not get the full experience.
Maybe it was an image or a scary movie or even just something from your childhood you wish not to relive.
Moses had one of those moments when he fled to from Egypt after killing a man. He was afraid of being found out so he hid in fear for forty years.
Then one day, he saw a burning bush and while he was drawn to it, he hid his face in fear once he realized it was God trying to get his attention.
Sometimes your purpose is on the other side of your fear. It was for Moses. The last thing he wanted to do was to go back from where he fled, but that’s what God was calling him to do.
He gave God all the excuses in the world as to why He must be asking the wrong person to save all of the Israelites. Why? It all boils down to fear.
Fear can hold you back from where God wants you to be. Don’t be afraid to look to and go back to God.
No one is ever too far gone to be loved and used by God. He has a plan for you and your purpose affects the eternity of others.
