What are you afraid of? Fear is our human reaction to things we don’t know or that we think will harm us in some way. Fear is thought to be a negative response.
There is another kind of fear. Fearing someone also means to have reverence or awe toward them. Having this kind of respect and honor for someone shows your acknowledgment that there is someone greater than you.
Wisdom in your life begins with your fear, reverence, of God. It’s actually the foundation of everything else that happens to you, around you, and through you. Accepting Christ’s sacrifice as your saving grace means you’re surrendering your will for His and your dreams for His dreams for you.
What God has planned for your life is much greater than what you have planned out for yourself. The sooner you recognize that the God of this world who sets everything in motion knows all and knows best, the sooner His authority can reign in your life.
His wisdom will bring you good judgment and intuition to make God-honoring choices. This is so important as your decisions don’t just affect you. They also affect everyone around you.
