In numerous ways, these last few months have been difficult for all of us. You may have lost a job or even a loved one. If this is the case for you, please know we are praying for you.
Most of us have dealt with multiple shifts in our lives and taken on new roles of working from home or being a teacher of home learning for your children.
Even more of you are fighting on the frontlines as a first responder and we certainly salute and thank you for your service as we wouldn’t be here without any of you.
Whatever you have been going through, you are seen and are not alone. God sees you. So much has changed in the world around us it will not be the same again.
Personally, I think that’s a good thing. This time has been spent getting closer as families, neighbors, and even closer in your relationship with God.
Perhaps you didn’t really know Him until you needed Him during this time. I encourage you no matter what stage of the Jesus journey you’re in, stay with it even after this time of crisis is over.
We all want to see change happen around us and now is the time to stand up and allow God to work through you to be the change. People listened to Jesus because He told good stories about how things could be and encouraged people to make things happen.
You and I are both called to reach people with the love of Christ and help lead them back to God. The only way to heaven is through Jesus—no exceptions or loopholes.
The way you are to do this, your purpose, is different than mine. You are equipped and called to make a difference. Stop listening to doubt and insecurity.
Be the change He would like you to experience in this world. How are you allowing God to help you make this world a better place for His namesake?
