What does it take for you to go all in for something? There are many reasons why you get fired up at the start, but what you need to see it through is grit and heart.
Grit is the strength to not only start something but to persevere and see it through. This strength grows within your heart until it pours right out of you and doesn’t stop.
Everything you do flows from your heart. When it is right with God, you are aligned to run full force into what He is calling you to do.
How do you know what you are going all in for is what God would want you to pursue? Pray and ask Him. As Him to give you eyes to see and His passion to make a difference for what breaks His heart in our world today.
To make sure you keep on the right path, this is a daily prayer that reassures Him and yourself of your commitment to fulfill His will for your life. You are not here just to experience all the worldly pleasures you can and then go to heaven because you accepted Christ one day way back when.
God wants your heart and if you give it too Him, He will be an influence to you so you will in turn be an influence for Him everywhere you go to everyone you meet. You are called, as all Christians are, to make disciples of all people.
This means that our influence is all people—all of those God has created. You don’t get to choose who goes to heaven and who doesn’t. Christ’s sacrifice is for all people.
The tough question I ask you today is how invested are you in this life with Jesus—are you all in?
