There are things that happen in our world and some of them hit closer to home than others. When we process pain and anger, the response of some is violence and protesting that is anything but peaceful.
When you wonder what the answer is to help right the wrongs going on around you, look no further than yourself. As Christians, we are here to be influential followers of Christ. Usually being a follower is seen as a bad thing, but with God to be first is to be last and to be last is to be first.
God created you and me as the answers to the wrongs of this world. If we don’t stand up and speak out against inequalities, senseless and unnecessary acts of murder and violence, and to advocate for those less fortunate and marginalized around the world then who will?
This isn’t a call to physically act and do harm—two wrongs don’t make a right, but it is an encouragement for you. You matter. Each and every person matters to God because He made all of us.
Be encouraged that God has formed you for a purpose on purpose. You were made to make a difference! Our lives are able to be lived because Christ sacrificed Himself for you.
While you were still a sinner, He chose to die for you so one day eternal life with God in heaven could be an option. When you choose to be commit your life to Christ it doesn’t mean you coast through and hope for some blessings and protection along the way.
Being a Christian is a call to action. Allow His love and peace to help you stand firm and advocate for others. God is a God of justice and if you let Him, He can use you to make this world a better place.
