Best laid plans often go awry. We may try to plan our course, but it is God who determines our steps.
There are many powerful people in this world. Because of their wealth, power, or charisma they have influence and do great—or many terrible—things.
Anything that is done on earth to benefit yourself will fade away in the end. The changes you make in the world could leave a lasting impact. It is the things we do though through God’s power in us that make a mighty difference.
One good habit to get into is asking yourself what the result will be from what you are about to do you say. As disciples of Jesus we are here to make an impact on the lives of others that will ultimately affect their eternity.
If what you’re about to say or do won’t bring honor to God or make an impact of His kingdom, it’s probably not what you’re supposed to be doing.
I’m not asking you to be fake. I’m encouraging you to be real. When you allow God to work in your life and the Holy Spirit to affect others around you, it will allow Him to infiltrate our world and bring a refreshing wave of peace, joy, and hope.
Living in the reality of His kingdom here and now will not only enable mighty things to be done on earth, but it will make a difference in our eternity with Him.
We are here to tell and show everyone about the love of God. Who can you tell your story to today so they know the reason for the joy you have?
