We all need guidance and direction and our lives. Without it we sometimes lose our way and choose to travel down some dark paths.
It is a fallen world we are all born into and there is nothing we can do ourselves to change that. But God chose to redeem you and bring you back into a right relationship with Himself.
You have been redeemed! Christ has gone before you and the Holy Spirit is with you. When you have a problem, chances are you find someone you know to talk to about it.
A word of caution though. Be careful of the council you seek direction from. Some may have the best of intentions when giving you advice and speaking from experience, but only Jesus has defeated this world, hell, and the grave.
There is no one better to ask for advice and guidance than God. He knows all and is all. He will always speak out of love because He is love. He knows no other way.
So before you let your thoughts and emotions get the better of you, pray and ask God first what to do. What can you do to get in a better habit of seeking Him first?
