Let’s be real for a minute. Was there ever a time you trusted someone so much and that trust was betrayed big time?
If you answered yes, you’re not alone. If you answered no, chances are the answer really is yes since you aren’t able to admit someone hurt you.
Or maybe it goes all the way back to childhood and you either can’t remember it or have chosen to block it out of your memory.
No matter what the case, the pain of being betrayed by someone you trusted deeply cuts like a knife. The wound goes so deep that it affects all of your relationships from then on—even your relationship with God.
It may be difficult, almost impossible, to allow yourself to fully trust someone again. But no relationship of value is based on anything less.
God wants you to choose to trust Him. No matter what He cannot be unfaithful to you. It’s against His nature! He is faithful in all He does.
He won’t cheat on you, talk about you behind your back, or tell your deepest secrets to anyone else. No matter what, He will never leave you and will faithfully be there with you as you go through whatever life throws at you.
What will it take for you to know He is faithful and will never betray your trust in Him?
