Before you were born God decided exactly what you would need inside of you to grow up and be who He created you to be.
There are things in life you can’t choose like your parents or other family, or where you’re born and when it happens. But just because you can’t control all of this doesn’t mean God hadn’t already thought of everything.
He always has a plan and He factors in all the big and small details. One thing is for sure. God gave you certain strengths, passions, and talents in order to fulfill His purpose for you.
You may say what about weaknesses you have or something your just okay at doing. Can’t you practice and just get better? There are some things you don’t do well and that’s just part of the plan. No one can be great at everything.
Your strengths may be someone else’s struggles and vice versa. God make us all unique with unique abilities. I like the image of all of us making up the body of Christ.
The human body wouldn’t look as God intended with too many eyes any more than the body of Christ would function with parts missing or out of place.
You may be discouraged because you’re not quite sure what you’re good at. Make a list of where your strengths, talents, and passions lie.
You will see similarities emerge among them. Where all three of these things overlap is right where His dream for you is. The things He’s put inside of you have power and He promises to help you fulfill the dreams He’s placed in your heart.
His promises hold power. If you let Him walk with you and help you achieve things, He will continue to make your path straight.
When your days on this earth come to an end will you be able to say you lived life to the fullest and fulfilled His dreams for you? What kind of an impact can you make for God?
