God’s forgiveness is for all, but in order to receive it you first have to believe. Belief in Christ is a prerequisite for accepting Him. After all how can you accept someone if you don’t believe they exist?
Jesus was a real person who was born, walked the earth, and died a horrible death on a cross. These things don’t take much to believe because they are recorded facts. Facts don’t take faith.
What you have to choose to believe in faith is that He is the Son of God, He came here with a purpose to make God known among the earth, He died to save you and me, and then rose again to sit beside God in heaven until the time is right to return.

But God is faithful. He sent His Son Jesus to die for you and for me so that through Christ you would have faith. God is also just. His mercy and guidance is based on His perfect justice and judgment. It isn’t up to us to judge others because only God has this right—He is righteous.
When you believe in Him, accept Christ, and confess your sins, He will purify you from all unrighteousness. This means any imperfections or defilements within you will be cleared in Jesus name. Anything that is sinful, unworthy, unethical, and unlawful will be removed from you and from your life.
All of this isn’t hard, but many stand in their own way from living the incredible life God has planned for them. Having faith in God means you believe in Him and who He is. He is not just the author and creator of life. He is also your protector, provider, comforter, and the lover of your soul.
Belief in Him changes everything and opens up doors that would have remained locked without Him by your side. How has your belief in God and who He is changed you?
