How you view life depends on your perspective. Do you look at the glass as half empty or half full?
With all the negative news in our world today, it’s easier to have the glass-half-empty mindset. I encourage you to see the world through eyes of faith. Nothing is impossible for God.
The glass truly is half full. No one looked at life this way more than Mary. She was young and was set to be married to Joseph. They had their whole lives ahead of them and trusted God for the outcome.
Trust in God, with faith at the base, can lead to awesome things. The angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and Joseph separately to let them both know they were to give birth to and raise the Son of God.
This was so not what they had planned for their lives to entail! But God assured them that they were highly favored by Him. He showed His approval and acceptance for the way they lived faithful lives devoted to Him.
How can you enjoy favor with God? Live a life worthy of the calling God has for you. All the details will be revealed to you as you keep living daily by faith.
When you are favored by God, He can give you favor with man, too. Life will not always go the way you want it to, but it will always go the way He planned it to. He will give you favor with man and things will happen that you can’t explain!
No matter how well your life is going, never stop praying and always know you are blessed and your faith in Him makes you highly favored in His eyes. What blessings are you most thankful for in your life?
