Have you ever been so focused on doing some thing that you totally lose sight of why you were doing it in the first place? I think we all fall prey to this.
Your heart started out in the right place, but somewhere along the way your motivations turned more in word instead of outward. In other words, you were more concerned with how the outcome would make you look then how it would benefit and help others.
It’s important when you find yourself in these times to humble yourself before God and ask him to help remind you of the why.
He should be the reason why we do anything. When you live life with a kingdom mindset it helps put everything into perspective and keep your heart in the right place.
Only God brings hope to all of life’s experiences. There is more to life than living selfishly for yourself and your personal gain. Jesus gave His life for you. It isn’t that you owe Him, but it’s more that He wants to pour out blessings in your life beyond measure.
God won’t be able to do this and help you stand unless you allow Him to be your firm foundation. Do you find you’re living your life waiting for there to be more? Or are you living your best life because of Jesus?
