Have you ever gone about your day and for some reason you “see” the same person everywhere you go even though they aren't there? My first thought is that I need to contact them and make sure everything is going well.
To me, whenever someone gets into the top awareness of my mind usually it’s because God is impressing upon me to pray for them. Nothing like this happens by accident.
God put Christ as the head of the church and you and I are the church. It’s not a building but the people who collaboratively make up the body of Christ that is the church.
In this way His Spirit lives in us as the church. The same power that raised Jesus from the grave lives in you. God placed Christ as His right hand.
So then being in Christ means we are here to be God’s hands and feet on the earth. You are God’s right-hand man or woman who has a specific purpose and skill set to live out a blessed, God-honoring life.
Just as Christ is in you, if you take the time to really look He is everywhere and is in everything. He’s in the beauty of the sunrise coming up over the mountains and reflecting in the ocean.
He’s in the people you meet and the situations you face—even and especially when you can’t see Him. He’s always there.
How would you live your day differently if you looked to see God in the people and things around you?
