Hustle and keep busy. Don’t give anyone a reason to make you think you are lazy and not willing to put in the work to see results. This is the world’s idea of success, but God knows something the world doesn’t.
Hustle and hard work only get you so far on your own. Achievements are great and it’s good to have goals, but without having God working through you to produce the results your labor is in vain.
Personal gain and power is what the world pushes. God wants surrender and obedience. Your willingness to allow Him to work through you is what produces results. It’s not about you. When it’s His power and strength that enables you to get things done, the results are more powerful than earthly gain and success.
His power and strength affect situations differently because wherever you allow Him to work there is an opportunity to see lives changed. Leading a team at work to achieve the big business deal doesn’t mean anything unless you live like Christ as you lead others.
In any situation, God is honest, trustworthy, and isn’t in it for what He can get out of it. This is how you can lead well. You were made in the image of Christ so it’s in your make up to portray Him to those around you.
It is through His discretion, His choice, that some are made greater and given more. It has nothing to do with what you do, but more about who you are. If you become close to Christ, you can’t help but to live and treat others like He would.
