You and your life are a significant part of a bigger story. There isn’t a person anywhere in this world without value or a purpose.
You are here for a reason and everything you do and go through in life is for a reason. Many question God asking, “Why me,” when things get hard.
More than likely God will not give you the reasons why while you’re enduring and persevering life’s struggles, but wants you to know He is there with you in the midst of them.
If He gave you answers in the middle of your storms, it probably wouldn’t make things better or easier or give you peace anyway. We always crave more details, but sometimes we just need to know He’s in control.
It’s only after you have allowed Him to help you grow and push through them that He allows you to see some of the bigger picture. It’s not always good to look back and dwell on the past, but it is great to reflect on what you’ve come through to get where you are.
Your circumstances are not what determines if God is trustworthy or not. Knowing who He is should be enough.
He never changes, always knows what’s best and how best to achieve it, is fair and just, and will give you peace beyond anything the world can give if you let Him.
He is eternally good, wise, and always has a plan. What is keeping you from trusting in God as your everlasting, unchanging, never-failing rock?
