It’s more difficult to do nowadays, but have you ever set out to go somewhere and had no clue how to get to your destination? GPS can get you there most of the time because someone has gone before you and created the road maps for where you need to go.
It can be frustrating sometimes along the way when the signal cuts out and you may lose your way for a while—still heading in what you think is the right direction until it reconnects. Your life can be this way too. When we walk this life daily, it’s nice to have someone who has gone before you to lead the way.
You will meet people who are in the same season of life just when you need them and others who are there for a lifetime. Both are important, but realize we are all just people. We are flawed and imperfect. Whether intentional or not, we will all do things that will let others down.
Some days will feel as if the blind is leading the blind. None of us really knows where we are going or what we are doing in this life. You can try to plan your course, but God determines your steps. He sent Jesus down to walk among us and to lay the foundation for us all.
There is no earthly thing He didn’t experience or spiritual battle He didn’t endure. He is a lamp unto your feet and light that shows you the path because He already knows where you are headed. Even when you don’t know the way, He is The Way.
If you let God be your GPS, you won’t lose signal and you won’t be led blindly through this life. Keep your focus on Jesus who made a way for you where there is no humanly possible way.
He will always be with you and not allow your feet to stumble even when troubles come. Are you stumbling blind through life or allow Him to guide you?
