There is something to the phrase “Take it one day at a time.”
Our world is ever changing and even when you have a plan, it’s often changed multiple times each day. God’s plans don’t change and nothing takes Him by surprise.
As all introverts rejoice and extroverts go crazy because of our new daily routines at this unimaginable time our history, never has the above phrase been more true.
Each day has the potential to have fun and excitement wrapped into it, but just as equally it can include many troubles and worries.
I encourage you today to look no further than the day ahead of you. Right now, we don’t know for sure when all of this will end.
It can be overwhelming to think there is no end in sight. So for now, just focus on today.
Tomorrow will have its own worries and troubles. Spend time living in the moments of today.
Enjoy your children being home with you—they will be busy again soon and gone before you know it.
Enjoy the extra time you have to work from home and maybe enjoy the weather—instead of leaving at the break of dawn and coming home when it’s dark.
