Many things are going on around you right now that can weigh you down mentally, emotionally, socially, and even physically.
Anxiety is a natural emotion to feel in many circumstances, especially during negative events and situations. It happens when you feel a loss of control.
It in turn creates feelings of apprehension and fear. These things seep into every area of your life and before you know it, you are overwhelmed and in over your head—thinking there’s no way out.
I assure you there is! Just like you can feel apprehension and fear you can experience the opposite—hope, confidence, and increased faith.
So how do you make the switch from fear to faith? Jesus! There is no other way. He is the way, truth, and the life.
If you could have made it through this life all by yourself, God wouldn’t have sent His Son to die for you. All you have to do to be led by Jesus through a life of faith is to accept what He did for you.
When you do this, you will experience joy, love, and grace that you’ve never known before. By accepting Christ, you are committing your life to Him.
Get to know Him through the Bible and through time in prayer and I assure you, He will help you through the anxious episodes when your heart feels heavy.
His words are filled with love to lift you up and get you through. Trust and depend on Him. When He lifts your heart, turn around and help be an encourager to others.
Living in a hurting world gives you many opportunities to be kind to others and show them the love of God by what you do for them and how you treat them.
What kind words or deeds have you been able to pass on to someone lately?
