What makes a person rich? Most would hear the word rich and think of money or material goods, but some of the most joyful people in the world are those especially in other countries who have next to nothing.
Being truly rich has nothing to do with money or the abundance of things. When you root who you are in who God is it changes everything. Joy isn’t found in anything this world has to offer but in Christ alone. His sacrifice for you and for me is the reason why we all have the opportunity to be rich.
Spiritually richness is part of the inheritance of all those who accept Christ. Your acceptance of Him unifies you with Him. This means you share in His inheritance from the Father.
He is more than able to supply all your needs. God knows what you need before you even ask, but He loves to hear your voice and wants to know your heart. His power and perfection is infinite because He is infinite—He has been and always will be forever.
The God of the universe didn’t create you allow you to walk this earth so you would not have everything you needed or doubt His goodness. In fact, it’s just the opposite. He wants you to see the signs and wonders He does every day all around you.
Take the time to see God at work in nature, in the lives of others, and in your own life. His wisdom and knowledge are above all that you could ever know. To pray and leave the rest up to Him takes faith, but without faith you will just worry about all of your needs being met.
Trust God’s got it all and lean into the abundant riches of His glory that He wants to reveal to you and pour out into your life. How have you seen God work around you or in you recently?
