Any way you slice it, criticism is hard to accept for all of us. Life would not be the same though without some correction. My youngest often asks why I talk to him so sternly sometimes. I have to explain to him that I love him and so I have been entrusted to teach him right from wrong.
Our heavenly Father feels the same way about you. He corrects you because He loves you. Everything comes in phases and seasons and you can’t skip any of them, no matter how much you may want to. There is always a purpose in the pain and in the joyful times, too.
Pray for His Spirit to be with you and help you through at all times so you can learn what is it He wants to teach you. When you trust God’s process, it makes it easier to follow His dreams for you. Every one of us have been given specific gifts from God that are to be used by us to fulfill His call on our lives.
You are responsible to fulfill your calling that He gave only to you. It can feel easier sometimes to doubt your ability than to have faith in who He says you are. Accept the process, accept the gifts He’s given you, and accept what He is calling you to fulfill for His glory in your life.
