People will always be skeptical of things they do not understand. There was an instance in the Bible where Peter and John healed a man who had been crippled, unable to walk, since birth. The religious leaders of the day heard about what they had done. They questioned Peter and John asking what had given them the power to perform such an act.
They did not try to take the credit themselves, but said boldly that it was the power of Christ in them that had healed the man. The leaders then saw the lame man walking around and was astounded by what they saw. At that point, there was no more questioning and the leaders knew the two had been used by God to perform a miracle.
Peter and John were recognized as having been with Jesus. There are such worse things we can be known for! Desire to live your life so that everyone will recognize that Jesus is with you! He has the power to use you to help people and be an influence for Him. All you have to do is be willing and obedient to His call on your life!
