We are all made in the image of God. This isn’t the same as people telling you that you look like your mom or your dad. God looks at the heart. So being made in His image means having the character, love, and other good things our hearts can produce that God transferred to us—His creations.
One thing God didn’t give you is a spirit of fear. If you are feeling fearful about something, it could be the enemy trying to keep you from it. If you live in fear, you can neglect to step into your God-given future. Instead He has given you the power to overcome, the love that casts out all fear, and the self-control to live an authentic life. He has given you everything you need for who He made you to be and for whatever you come up against in your life.
Choose to believe in the you God made you to be. What would happen if you put fear aside and stepped into the destiny God has planned for you?
