More than likely, you have made the choice to be fake at some point in time—even if just for the moment. Maybe it was when you ran into an acquaintance and they ask how you are. Instead of telling them your troubles, you simply respond, “I’m great!”
For some though this opposition to transparency can become a way of life. One thing leads to another and it becomes easier to live guarded than it is to live guided.
It’s not until we choose freedom in Christ that our lives can be turned around. Only He can change a heart and help people become who they were made to be.
