There’s a phrase I hear often—awesome sauce. It’s usually an exclamation about how great something or someone is. Maybe someone has called you awesome sauce. Did you believe it?
Your decision to believe or deny this compliment given to you is based on how you see yourself. If you deal with insecurities about who you are, accepting nice things that are said about you will always be a struggle.
It isn’t until you believe the truths God says about you that it becomes easier to live an authentic life rooted in your identity as a child of God. How He sees us is the foundation of our identity today and our security of our future eternity with Him tomorrow.
