Have you ever been called out? Usually when you think of this phrase it’s probably in the context of someone bringing to light something you’ve done wrong and they want everyone to know.
So when you read in the Bible that God has called us out, your first instinct may be to run. To be transparent and be seen for who you truly are can be frightening. But if you think about it, God already knows you inside and out. He knows what you’ll do or ask before it happens.
So when God calls you out, He isn’t doing in maliciously. He truly wants to become a closer friend to you. God has called us out of our darkness. His light exposes us and we are not only drawn to Him, but we become light ourselves. How has His wonderful light made all the difference in your life?
