Ever catch yourself saying one thing and doing another (especially around your kids)? God wants us to say what we mean and mean what we say—showing and not just telling what we think and stand for. It is the best day ever when we accept Christ and officially say/make a commitment to let Him lead us—believing He came and He died to save us. But wait there’s more! When we also believe without a doubt that God raised Him from the dead, we have accepted our salvation! Confessing with our mouth and believing all of this with our heart is all we need to do to come back into a right relationship with God and spend eternity with Him. However, this does not mean that we can accept Christ, be forgiven, and then go back to living like the world. God wants to see His children, you and me, live a fulfilling life of freedom with Him by our side. What is keeping you from believing in your heart that He is in control and Lord of all?
