Different paths lead to different places. This is just common sense, but how often do we think about this as we do things each and every day. No one gets up one day and decides they want to take a trip down a long, dark, and winding path. We arrive at the places we find ourselves because of the continuous steps we took. You can decide to make choices that lead down paths full of things that provide moments of happiness or you can choose to let Jesus guide you down the path He has for you. When we don’t trust God and lean on our own understanding, it only leads us down unfulfilling paths. On the flip side, trusting Him with our whole heart and leaning on Him for understanding makes our paths clear as we submit every step we take to Him. Sure, His path will still have difficult sections where you may feel like you’re wandering in circles, facing trials of all kinds. But one thing is for certain. When you choose to walk with God, you’ll never be alone. He will be with you every step of the way. Which path have you been walking?
