In society today, it is easier than not to develop a false identity of ourselves. All it takes is one lie we believe or one situation to alter our thinking. Maybe someone bullied you over something you said or did and you feel unloved or maybe you accomplished something and it didn’t meet someone else’s expectations so you feel undervalued and under appreciated. The only thing to combat against these feelings and false identities is to make a choice to pursue God’s truth and believe what He says about you without a doubt. He is everything that is true, right, and pure. We will not experience complete freedom until we choose to hold tight to our true, God-given identity.
