One little comment. One little thought. This is all it takes to put us on a slippery slope to a false identity. The comments of others and the things that happen to us change the way we view ourselves, but do they have to? We wish we all had that one friend who could speak life into us and always be there to help us through when our minds want to get the better of us. The great news is we do! The closer we become in our friendship with Christ, the easier it is to combat the lies of false identity, but we MUST choose and pursue His truth so we can know and believe it with all we are. We cannot experience complete freedom less we fully surrender to Him. We all have access to Jesus and the opportunity to choose to have a relationship with Him, but not everyone does. He is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy! If we are to fix our thoughts on all He is, He will show us who we are and who He made us to be. What lies have you believed that are contrary to who God says you are?
