Life is so full of busyness and chaos with working, family, and social meet ups that we have little time to ourselves—time to just breathe. There are things we say yes to every single day that push us beyond our reasonable limits of time. Why do we overextend ourselves? Fear. At the root of it all is the fear of missing out or falling behind based on what others around us have or even the fear we have of disappointing people. God doesn’t want us to fear because He is always with us. He is our Shepherd who always takes care of His sheep so that there is nothing they lack. When we trust Him to guide our path, He directs down roads that include green pastures and quiet waters. it is His will that we don’t live stressed out without time to breathe.
