At some point in our lives, we push ourselves to the breaking point with a packed schedule that leaves us wanting more. Maybe you’re at that point right now. How did you reach this place of chaos?
Whatever you yield to, what you allow, will ultimately control you. So when you have an issue with saying yes to everything and everyone, it leaves no time for you.
But most importantly, when you make the decision somewhere in life to yield to self instead of God, it makes it hard to hear God speak to you.
When you choose to yield willingly and obediently to what and who you feel you “must,” you’ve compromised the life God has for you for things that have little to no eternal impact.
We are only here in this earth for a short time. Eternity lasts forever. You must make a choice totally surrender everything you do and everything you are to God.
