It’s a great feeling when someone comes to you without having a hidden agenda—especially when it’s your children. This can happen with your friends too. Are there friends who only come to you when they want something?
Think about this concept when it comes to God. He wants to hear your concerns and fulfill your needs, but don’t let that be the only reason you talk to Him. Do your best to live a prayerful life. Pray and bring your requests to Him. Also, pray and thank Him for the good things in your life and even more so when things aren’t going well at all. Let Him know that no matter what you love Him.
Thank Him for just being Him. Isn’t that what we all want? It is nice to get recognized for what we do, but it’s even better when people just like us for who we are. God will give you peace beyond your understanding and help you to have the best answers to your requests when you have faith in who He is and praise Him no matter what.
