Are you in a phase or season where you feel oppressed, unloved, and alone? I assure you, you are not alone. All of us have times where we feel this way.
There is good news! Even when times are tough and the future is uncertain, there is hope for you. Even Christ endured temptation and persecution—feeling alone and oppressed. If you are to follow in Christ’s footsteps by continuing His purpose of telling and teaching others about His Father’s love, you will have times where you feel less than.
These times are all part of the process of your life, but what’s equally important is how you act in times like these. How can you be a light for Christ if you hide you light under the weight of your feelings? This is not to neglect how you feel, but rather to not dwell and act on feelings.
No one understands more than Jesus and He survived because He knew these truths: You can feel pressed on every side, but you won’t be crushed. You can feel confused and not know what to do, but there is hope. You can feel harassed or attacked or bullied, but you’re not alone. You can feel totally defeated, but what you are going through won’t destroy you.
