When you were a kid, you were probably given chores to do. Didn’t you feel better when you were obedient and followed through with them? Not to mention your parents were probably proud of you too.
Obedience to God can yield great rewards. When you choose to do what He asks you to, your obedience will be returned with favor and blessings.
So being obedient is important, but so is consistently following through. You cannot choose what to do and not do when He asks you.
Noah probably thought building a huge boat to save his family and some animals from a great flood was crazy—especially since it hadn’t even rained let alone flooded.
But he did everything as God commanded him to. Why? He was obedient and it saved him and his family, not to mention the existence of all of mankind.
Are you following through and doing what God asks of you? If not, what is holding you back?
