You’ve heard it said that you can’t choose your family. Maybe you’ve grown up with a weird uncle or a crazy grandma.
Some people have siblings while others grew up as only children. No matter the case, no person in the history of the world had a perfect childhood one hundred percent of the time.
Why? We are all human, even our parents, and not one of us is perfect. God didn’t make us this way.
It wasn’t part of God’s will for you to live a perfect life because we have all been born sinful creatures. The only way you can commit to living your best life is if you commit your life to Him.
As you begin to know God more through praying with Him and reading His Word, His will becomes real in your life.
For all the Christ followers, this is good news. The Bible says whoever does His will becomes adopted into His family.
So no matter how many brothers and sisters you have or didn’t have, you now have more siblings through Christ than you can count.
Every Christ follower is your brother or sister. You lift each other up in times of trouble and you help to comfort one another in the hard times.
You would do anything to help them and make sure they know how much they’re loved. This is how much God loves us.
