Since the moment we were created, we were meant to work and also to rest. Over time, people became overworked and underpaid. This led to a labor movement where these unfair treatments of adults and children were protested.
Since then, labor laws have been put in place to protect the rights of workers in the United States and other countries. There are still things that are not equal in the workplace just yet, but significant progress has been made.
No matter what your profession is, you have a higher calling than the daily functions you perform. God has placed you right where you are and right at this precise moment in time for a reason.
Many people know about the sacrifice of Christ and His resurrection, but there are always more people who need to have the hope only He can give. Wherever you find yourself doing work, show His love to those around you.
Show grace and forgiveness to them because He has extended grace and forgiveness to you. They will begin to wonder why you have an outlook of hope and faith when the world continues to fall down around us.
There is no better way to open the door to share Jesus than to live like Him. God is just and created all of us as equals. In His eyes were are all His children. Caring enough to help lead other to salvation in Christ is the greatest thing you can ever do.
All other work you do in this life will fade away, but salvation through Christ is forever. How has your life been a testimony of how great God is?
